Blue
spring break 2019
Over spring break, I was "grounded" which kinda sucked at first, but then I ended up spending most of it working, catching up on art projects, and playing on my new switch. In the final picture above, I am holding up a hand drawn M in the Super Mario Odyssey style and replaced the M of the McDonald's sign to symbolize that I worked, I worked on art by it being drawn, and played Mario Odyssey. That's really all I did over the break. I worked and played during the day and worked on the art projects during the night. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep.
I really liked the idea of putting blue paint on the flower. If that isn't blue paint it looks like splattered paint. I like that there are two different blues a light and dark mixed. I think it was good making the flower the subject of the piece, I wonder if you did tiny white flowers underneath it that were just so the blue speckled flower would be a symbolism of something. Over all I would take more close-up shots of the flower it's self to see the blue even more for the viewer's eyes or taking the shot from a different angle.
